How do you add a 4th deck to a 44-metre superyacht without compromising its sporty, powerful profile? This was the design challenge Alberto Mancini, exterior designer of the Azimut Grande 44M, set out to solve with this pioneering four-deck superyacht.
Rather than simply increasing the yacht’s overall volume, Mancini took a more daring approach: ingeniously integrating a fourth deck into the design, relocating the helm station to the highest level and dedicating the entire Upper Deck to the owner. This thoughtful spatial arrangement introduces an entirely new dimension to life on board, elevating privacy and comfort against the vast backdrop of the ocean.
From the Main Deck, designed for gathering and entertaining, to the owner’s private Upper Deck, the forward area with its sweeping horizons and the Beach Club at water level, each deck offers its own distinctive character.
Main Deck: A Space for Gathering and Connection

The Main Deck forms the social heart of the yacht, where the salon, dining area and shared living spaces flow seamlessly into one another, creating an atmosphere of understated sophistication at sea.

Expansive glazing opens up panoramic sea views, drawing natural light deep into the interiors and blurring the boundaries between inside and out. It is an inviting setting for family gatherings, entertaining friends and savouring unhurried moments throughout the voyage.
Upper Deck: A Private World for the Owner
What sets the Azimut Grande 44M apart is its Upper Deck, conceived as an exclusive retreat for the owner and also known as the Owner’s Deck.

Depending on the chosen configuration, the forward Sky Lounge can be transformed into a media room for entertainment, an intimate dining area or a lounge for receiving guests, all with the sea as a captivating backdrop.

This versatility goes beyond offering multiple uses for the same space; it allows the owner to shape life on board around personal preferences, individual routines and a distinct vision of luxury.
The Foredeck: Open Horizons, Uninterrupted Serenity
The foredeck offers unobstructed views towards the horizon, creating an inviting setting to unwind, take in the scenery and immerse oneself in the seascape.

Positioned on the Upper Deck, the Sky Lounge makes the most of this privileged vantage point, bringing the ocean closer while preserving a greater sense of privacy and seclusion.

Beach Club: Closer to the Ocean
The Beach Club creates a waterfront retreat where life on board becomes more immersive and connected to the sea.

Its defining features include the Mezzanine Deck and the See-Through Pool, whose transparent sides allow sunlight to filter through the water, casting captivating reflections onto the space below.

As sunlight meets the surface, architecture, water and light come together in a dynamic interplay, composing a visual symphony inspired by the ocean. It is an inviting place to bask in the sunshine, feel the sea breeze and unwind in the embrace of the natural surroundings.
From the Main Deck to the Upper Deck, from the foredeck to the Beach Club, the Azimut Grande 44M embodies a consistent design philosophy: every area transcends its functional purpose to create a more personal, multifaceted experience of life at sea. Flexible configurations allow the owner to adapt each space to their mood, the moment and the occasion, making the yacht as versatile as the lifestyle it is designed to accommodate.
