BENETEAU officially unveils the Gran Turismo 50, the new flagship of its express cruiser line, marking the next phase in the brand’s strategy to expand and further refine the Gran Turismo range.
As yacht ownership in Vietnam continues to shift toward solutions that prioritise versatility, generous space and a complete onboard experience, the Gran Turismo 50 is expected to set a new reference point within the mid-to-large express cruiser segment. The balance between confident performance, expansive living areas and a refined, purposeful design philosophy makes this flagship equally well suited for short day trips as well as extended journeys with family and friends.
With the Gran Turismo 50, Beneteau introduces more than a new model. It clearly reinforces the brand’s long-term vision for the Gran Turismo line, one that is more contemporary, more flexible, and deeply focused on real-world ownership and use across a wide range of cruising conditions.

Building on the innovative spirit showcased across the latest generation of Gran Turismo models, the Gran Turismo 50 is developed around a fundamentally new design approach. Spatial layout, aesthetics and ergonomics have been comprehensively rethought and integrated into a next-generation hull platform, reflecting the forefront of modern naval architecture. The result is a highly versatile yacht that responds precisely to the practical needs of today’s owners, while preserving the sense of freedom and effortless cruising that defines the Gran Turismo identity.
Eric LeVine, Motor Yachts Sales Director at BENETEAU, commented:
“Gran Turismo 50 is the result not only of craftsmanship and passion, but of listening. From the very beginning of the project, our core question was not what our customers were driving, but what truly motivates them. What brings them satisfaction? What do they prioritise? To find those answers, we looked back at our 140-year boatbuilding heritage, listened to feedback from hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide, and looked ahead to future technologies and new ways of enjoying life on the water. Gran Turismo 50 represents a significant shift within a highly competitive express cruiser segment. Seeing these ideas move from concept to a fully realised yacht has been an inspiring journey for the entire team.”

One of the most defining features of the Gran Turismo 50 is the substantial expansion of outdoor living spaces, combined with carefully planned and adaptable functional zones. This approach delivers a level of comfort comparable to a “villa on the water”, while allowing the yacht to transition seamlessly from a fast express cruiser underway to a relaxed floating base at anchor, achieved through a series of intuitive and simple adjustments.
According to Robert Chaffer, Product Director at BENETEAU:
“Gran Turismo 50 embodies BENETEAU’s renewed vision of premium cruising. On this flagship, the heritage of the Gran Turismo line is thoughtfully blended with Japanese design philosophies, from the deliberate simplicity of Kanso to the subtle elegance of Yugen. From aerodynamic exterior lines to interior and exterior living spaces, every detail has been carefully considered to deliver meaningful on-water experiences and lasting moments at sea.”

Delivering an authentic Gran Turismo driving experience remained a central focus throughout the development of the Gran Turismo 50. The helm station has been designed to high ergonomic standards, optimising control, visibility and driver confidence at speed. Through collaboration with renowned naval architect Bill Dixon, BENETEAU has engineered a new-generation hull that balances fuel efficiency with responsive handling and exceptional stability. This allows owners to undertake longer passages with confidence, precision and a driving sensation comparable to that of a true GT.
