Presented at the Palm Beach International Boat Show, Azimut's latest flagship, the low- emission yacht GRANDE 44M, features design and exterior styling by Alberto Mancini and interiors by M2Atelier, marking their first collaboration with the shipyard. Five units were sold prior to the official launch.
Introduced during the Palm Beam International Boat Show 2024, the new Grande 44M joins the Azimut fleet as the flagship of the popular Grande series. A series inspired by an affinity for grandueur combined with advanced technology and the highest mastery in technique. Up to the moment, this will be the largest model in the Grande line ever built by the shipyard. It is also a
n expression of its mission to marry technological innovation, visionary design, and a focus on environmental sustainability.
“Grande 44M demonstrates that genuine innovation foresees the desires of owners. This is evidenced by the five units sold prior to the project's official unveiling, all purchased by Azimut clients who have evolved with us, resonate with the shipyard’s values, and entrust Azimut with the construction of their larger vessels as well,” stated Azimut Yachts CEO Marco Valle.
Not only is the Grande line the flagship, but Grande 44M is the largest size ever launched by the brand. For the first time in the market, a 44-meter super yacht with reduced CO2 emissions, constructed from GRP, possesses strong, exquisite lines and has up to 4 decks instead of a maximum of only 3 decks. The Upper Deck area can be optionally converted into an extremely private Owner's deck with an unlimited magnificent view of the sea, which is also a notable detail of this 44-meter super yacht. Aft, Grande 44M reproposes the Mezzanine Deck with Sea View Terrace that was central to the success of Grande Trideck.
The crucial turning point in this project was Azimut's first-ever collaboration with the architectural firm m²atelier, who were responsible for the interior design. They crafted an exquisite interior design that was meticulously finished on every surface. Striking the ideal harmony between functionality and beauty, prioritizing the homeowner's experience, and offering a range of adaptable options for homeowners to tailor to their individual tastes enhances their quality time with family and friends.
The Grande 44M stands out as a unique design masterpiece, advocating for a lifestyle in harmony with nature. Beyond its striking design, it represents a highly advanced naval architecture. This initiative signifies a progressive move in Azimut's green journey. As a member of the Low Emission Yachts series, the Grande 44M helps cut emissions by up to 30% compared to diesel-powered ships of similar size. Its cutting-edge naval platform incorporates groundbreaking features, including the Dual Mode hull, Hull Vane® foil technology, and the Mild Hybrid Plus Zero Emission Hotel Mode system.
The introduction of the Azimut Grande 44M represents a bold and significant step forward for the Italian brand. Its debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival 2026 promises to be a remarkable spectacle.
