Azimut Seadeck 6 triumphed prestigious Innovation Award, Fly 72 also honored at the Miami Innovation Awards
Azimut begins 2025 with a major industry recognition, securing the Innovation Award at the Motor Boat & Yachting’s Motorboat Awards. The ceremony, held on January 21st during boot Düsseldorf, introduced this new category to highlight shipyards driving the future of yachting through innovative solutions.
The jury awarded the Seadeck 6 for its outstanding combination of design innovations and sustainability-focused solutions. They praised the model’s use of recycled materials, lightweight construction, and hybrid propulsion system, emphasizing that "being sustainable doesn’t have to mean sacrificing style, luxury, range, or speed."

Azimut’s success continued at the Miami International Boat Show, where the Fly 72 won in the Cabin Cruisers, Motor Yachts, and Trawlers category at the 2025 Miami Innovation Awards. These awards recognize groundbreaking products in the industry, with winners selected by a jury of seven Boating Writers International (BWI) members who personally test innovations throughout the year.

The Fly 72, the second-largest model in Azimut’s Fly Series, features exterior design by Alberto Mancini and interiors by architect Fabio Fantolino. Having made its world debut at the 2023 Cannes Yachting Festival, this model represents Fabio Fantolino’s first yacht design, following his extensive work in high-end residential and hospitality projects. With Alberto Mancini, a key designer for Azimut, has shaped multiple models across the brand’s S, Fly, Grande, and Seadeck series since 2019.
Additionally, Fly 72 was highly commended in the ‘Best Flybridge over 60 feet’ category, further solidifying its impact in this segment.
With these accolades, Azimut reinforces its position at the forefront of yacht innovation and sustainability, setting new benchmarks for design and performance in the industry.
