The distinct value of a yacht lies not merely in its size or market positioning, but in the comprehensive integration of naval architecture, operational technology, and the marine living experience. This design philosophy formed the core theme of the workshop titled “Yacht Design, An Art That Amazes.” Organized by Tam Son Yachting - the official representative of Azimut Yachts in Vietnam, the exclusive and limited-guest event took place on April 9th at Rendez-vous by Tam Son in Hanoi, offering an intimate, warm, and inspiring space to share the art of yacht design.

Within the framework of the event, guests gathered to converse, network, and gain profound professional insights. Under the direct guidance of Mr. Vu Tran (CEO of Tam Son Yachting) and Mr. Filippo Tomasoni (Head of Azimut Grande for EMEA-APAC), the narrative of design transcended pure technicalities. The speakers guided the audience through the three key pillars that define the distinct experience of the yachting world: Design & Naval Architecture, Innovation, and Craftsmanship, the foundational values that shape the owner's emotions from the very moment they step on board.

Drawing from Azimut Yachts' real-world projects and its extensive collaboration with top international designers, Mr. Filippo Tomasoni provided a comprehensive overview of the development process, with a particular focus on the Azimut Grande collection. The presentation highlighted large-scale spatial planning, premium material applications, and modern technological solutions designed to optimize private living experiences at sea.
In addition to analyzing the signature creative philosophy of the Grande collection, the speakers highlighted global yachting trends for the 2026-2027 period. Among these, bespoke personalization tailored to the owner's unique needs, a seamless connection with nature, and the optimization of flexible living spaces are emerging as the main drivers of contemporary yacht design language.

Notably, the event was honored by the presence of Mr. Doan Viet Dai Tu, Chairman of Tam Son Yachting. From the macro perspective of a market visionary, he shared strategic, practical insights regarding the future development potential of the Vietnamese yachting industry.

The workshop unfolded within the elegantly curated setting of Rendez-vous by Tam Son. Here, alongside direct exchanges with experts and a tour of the Azimut mini gallery, guests had the opportunity to explore curated fashion and lifestyle selections while savoring the bold, complex notes of Mortlach whisky.
The harmonious connection between design, people, and lifestyle delivered a complete sensory evening for all guests. This successful event marks a continuation of Tam Son Yachting’s long-term vision to foster and expand in-depth dialogues centered on yacht craftsmanship, design thinking, and bespoke experiences in Vietnam.
