Continuing to reaffirm its position as the world’s leading producer of yachts over 24 metres, Azimut|Benetti Group officially introduces the Azimut|Benetti Group Service Division, a comprehensive service platform delivering end-to-end solutions and advanced yacht usage models.

For the 26th consecutive year, Azimut|Benetti Group has retained the number-one position on the Global Order Book, the authoritative ranking published by BOAT International, which has tracked global megayacht production since 1992, based on data from 190 shipyards across five continents.

This achievement reflects the Group’s consistent leadership on the international stage, while also underlining the enduring influence of Italian yachting within the high-end segment. According to the report, Azimut|Benetti Group leads across all categories assessed, with 163 yachts currently under construction, totalling 5,924 metres in length, and accounting for 23% of the global market.

These figures correspond to the positive results recorded for the financial year ending 31 August 2025, with revenues of €1.5 billion, and an order backlog secured through 2029. Together, they confirm the strength of a resilient business model, supported by continuity in family governance, and the ability to anticipate emerging market trends.

Notably, the industry is entering a significant phase of transformation, as owners increasingly prioritise operational simplicity, flexibility of use, and intelligent solutions to enhance the overall experience. In response to this shift, the Azimut|Benetti Group Service Division has been developed as a comprehensive service ecosystem, designed to ensure peace of mind for owners, and to establish a new benchmark for luxury in yachting.

In today’s global landscape, the yachting industry is undergoing a clear transition from product-focused ownership to experience-driven use. Owners are seeking fewer operational complexities, and more time to enjoy their yachts, reducing management demands in favour of emotional value and quality time on board.

It is against this backdrop that the Azimut|Benetti Group Service Division was created, under the leadership of Massimiliano Casoni, building on the strategic vision of Paolo Vitelli, who recognised as early as the 2000s that services would represent the next strategic frontier for the yachting industry. This vision was progressively realised through the acquisition of refit shipyard Lusben (2000), the launch of the styling and art advisory Yachtique (2008), and the development of marinas as specialised premium destinations for yacht tourism.

Today, this vision has been translated into a comprehensive service hub, offering integrated solutions that support owners throughout the entire lifecycle of their yacht, from operational management, to technical services, and personalised experiences.

The Azimut|Benetti Group Service Division is structured around three core pillars, to be rolled out through a roadmap extending to 2028, with the aim of simplifying management, and enhancing the owner experience.

Protecting asset value

This service offering is designed to control running costs, and preserve the yacht’s value over time, through preventive maintenance, predictive solutions, and extended warranty programmes. The result is long-term operational reliability, and sustained asset value.

Crew management

The programme focuses on crew selection, training, and coordination, contributing directly to the quality of everyday life on board, while ensuring alignment with the technical and operational requirements of Azimut and Benetti yachts.

Owner experience

Through Yachtique, owners receive styling and art advisory support, working alongside designers to select interiors, materials, and decorative elements that reflect their personal vision. Following delivery, the experience is further enhanced through concierge services, and the Owners Club programme.
