At boot Düsseldorf 2026 (January 17–25), Saxdor Yachts will host the global debut of its new flagship, the Saxdor 460 GTC. This launch represents a pivotal milestone in the brand’s product roadmap, marking the Finnish shipbuilder's official entry into the 45-50ft yacht segment.

This strategic move follows the success of the Saxdor 400, launched in 2023, which established the brand's presence in the 40-foot sports cruiser market. By scaling up and integrating advanced technological solutions into the 460 GTC, Saxdor is not only diversifying its portfolio but also directly competing within the mid-size luxury yacht category.

Erna Rusi – CEO, Saxdor Yachts:

“With the 460 GTC, Saxdor is moving into a new segment, where the design solutions and technologies that define our brand are developed on a larger, more refined platform. Our goal was not simply to build a bigger boat, but to deliver a complete experience that remains true to Saxdor’s DNA.”

The core of this evolution lies in Saxdor’s signature “open–closed” design philosophy. The enclosed wheelhouse is optimised for use across a wide range of weather conditions, yet remains seamlessly connected to the outdoor areas. Rather than separating spaces, the layout creates a continuous flow from the bow to the aft deck. Built on this concept, the Saxdor 460 GTC retains the brand’s core values while elevating levels of comfort and finish, delivering an onboard experience comparable to larger yachts.

Sliding doors on both sides of the wheelhouse open the interior directly to the exterior, creating a flexible and open living environment. The aft galley, fully equipped for both cooking and entertaining, naturally becomes a social hub on board. From the helm, a forward passage leads to the bow through a smart two-piece door system: the upper section lifts and slides neatly into the ceiling, while the lower section opens outward on hinges, optimising visibility and ventilation. At the stern, a lowering window combined with a port-side door seamlessly connects the saloon to the aft deck, expanding usable space and enhancing access to the water.

Outdoor living areas on the Saxdor 460 GTC are conceived as a natural extension of the interior, significantly increasing usable space and offering multiple options for relaxation and socialising on deck. Saxdor’s “private island” concept is clearly expressed through the largest extended swim platform in its class, positioned close to the water and wide enough for flexible use in various scenarios. Refinements in layout and detailing further enhance ease of movement, comfort and practicality on board. Aft, the cockpit is optimised with multiple seating and table configurations, accommodating everything from quiet moments of relaxation to lively gatherings with family and friends.

Despite its increased size, the Saxdor 460 GTC does not compromise on performance, remaining true to the brand’s sporty character. A wide range of Mercury engine options is available, from triple V8-300s to twin V12-600s, allowing owners to tailor performance to their preferred style of cruising. Notably, Saxdor Yachts is the first yacht manufacturer outside the United States to adopt Navico’s Fathom® e-power system, an advanced lithium-ion-based solution for auxiliary energy management.
